Frightening event: It's normal to be afraid that such a traumatic event is happening again. It's also very unusual for a 19 year old, otherwise healthy, male to have a tia. A thorough investigation into the cause of the original TIA is needed, including congenital (birth) defects in the heart, blood vessels or brain. PTSD: You are likely experiencing symptoms that are similar to symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. Having as TIA can be a stressful experience. It will get better over time. You can also try yoga and medication, my patients find them quite helpful.
