How do i improve my self confidence as a retired person?

Feeling productive: If you re retired you still need to feel like you are a productive member of society and giving back in some way. If you have special skills, perhaps volunteering you time and skills is a good way to accomplish that. Volunteering is a great way to help and for you to feel good about yourself.

Self-esteem: Self-confidence is closely tied to self esteem. A person with high self-esteem recognizes and trusts her worth as a human being. A self-confident person feels good about his inherent value and is willing to take risks and set achievable goals. Self-confidence is not always absolute. It can be relative to the situation or task at hand. So find what you value now and set goals about achieving this.

Self Esteem: Many seniors and retired individuals lose the meaning they had in life if they don;t remain socially connected. Find ways to give to others as giving provides meaning and consistent self esteem. Best.
