Migraine?: Many people with migraine get vertigo even when headache is mild. Over the counter medications include caffeine, fever few, benadryl/diphenhydramine and routine pain medications. You may have dulled the headache, which was still there when Ibuprofen wore off. If symptoms went away in 24 hours, migraine is probable. If the dizziness was the main problem, it might be benign paroxysmal vertigo.
