Pancreatitis: The pain you are describing is classic for acute pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas gland). This should be evaluated immediately with a blood test (amylase and lipase level). Pancreatitis if present is reversible but the outcome is best when addressed right away. If that is negative, you need imaging of your abdomen with a ct scan. Call your doctor right away.
