Left side of head?: We generally, believe that the brain itself is not able to "feel" pain....Although it interprets it and processes it very well! therefore, i believe it is more like your pain is on the left side of your head radiating to the front in a pulsating manner. This is certainly consistent with at least 1 commonly described symptom of migraine pain. Best that you talk to your doctor about good options.

Neuralgic pain: It can be a relatively uncommon manifestation of migraine headaches. It may prove to be harbinger of migraines or you may already suffer from typical or atypical migraines also.
