What should i do if my hospital keeps sending me home while i'm still having contractions?

Braxton Hicks?: Your hospital (really the doctors) most likely thinks that the contractions you are experiencing do not represent true labour. Called braxton hicks contractions, these are sporadic and non-regular uterine contractions that are not true labour. The time to go to the hospital is when the contractions become regular and sustained, or if your water breaks.
