Should i have a scan of my lungs if i work in a very polluted environment? no symptoms but concerned. if so, what type of xray/scan is it?

No scan needed: If you are worried about the effect of pollution, a pulmonary function test (pft) is useful than scans. If pft is normal. No further tests necessary. A visit to a pulmonologist can be helpful.
