Lifestyle changes!: Many people with reflux find that it is worse at night or when they first wake up. When you are lying flat gastric acid may reflux proximally causing increased symptoms. This can be worse with eating right before bed, eating large meals late, eating spicy food, significant alcohol, caffeine, antiinflammatory intake. If this is you, consider some lifestyle changes and/or see family doc!
