Neuralgia: Tingling and burning symptoms are typically nerve based in nature. This may be an isolated neuralgia that self resolves. If it persists it may be a form of trigeminal (fifth nerve) neuralgia, a pain condition that can be treated with nerve pain medications. A MRI of the brain may be recommended if symptoms are persistent.
