Mixed Signal: When you feel like you're falling, it's usually as you are starting to fall asleep. The brain incorrectly interprets the relaxation of your muscles as a falling sensation and often people experience "twitches" of "spasms" of their arms and legs. This happens as a result of your brain trying to brace its self for the fall.
