Psychiatric eval is: Recommended. Depression sx’s can include feeling sad, irritable or angry; v in sex drive ; energy or motivation levels. One may socially isolate or stop involvement in normal activities. Sleep, appetite ; weight may ^ or v. Concentration, memory ; self esteem may v with an absence of joy, feelings of helplessness or hopelessness. There may be crying spells or thoughts of death or suicide. Symptoms.

They can go together: Anxiety and depression often go hand in hand. An evaluation by a psychiatrist or other mental health professional is your best bet.
