Yes: Redundant and sagging upper eyelid skin that overhangs the eyelid margin often affects the upper visual field. Because of this and the relative dimming effect it has on vision, there is an associated compensatory frontalis (forehead) muscle contraction to raise the eyebrows and aid upper eyelid elevation. This causes fatigue & begins to feel heavy. In mod severe cases, surgery is beneficial.
