Yes: Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is a highly controlled Schedule II DEA medication. If you are taking more of the medication because you need a higher dose that is still an approved amount (no higher than 60 mg daily), you may want to discuss this with the doctor. However, misusing or not following your doctor's directions especially with this type of medication is a much bigger deal than a non-controlled medication.
