Hydrogen Peroxide: Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is not very good as an antiseptic. Cleaning injured skin with hydrogen peroxide may lead to tissue damage. Although hydrogen peroxide was often used in the past for wound care – that is not recommended. It may delay healing.
