A member asked:

Why is the arch of aorta curved? explanations please?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Arch: The arch is curved because that's the way it develops as the embryo/fetus grows in size in its mother. It it didn't curve and had acute angle turns to get blood to the lower body, the turbulence it caused would be a serious problem.
