MOST DEFINITELY: It depends on where in your large bowel the impaction is. Actually, and particularly in the elderly, nursing home patient, the most common sign of impaction is sudden diarrhea! go figure huh... And i'm sure some people still think this job just needs one book and a test... Bery humbling profession. One another example?... Abdominal pain in the elderly... Think of pneumonia! no s..T! unreal.
