See a GI doctor.: At this point if the enemas are not helping, you need to be properly evaluated for a possible obstruction. See a gastroenterologist.

Maybe you're empty: Irritation of the rectum can make one feel like a bowel movement is needed, even if there is no stool there. It sounds like you're passing stool easily. I would use an oral laxative like generic Miralax (polyethylene glycol) instead of an enema, which may further irritate the rectum. If you are passing soft stool every day and still feeling like the rectum is full, then you may need an exam to find out why. Good luck.

Enema: If a dulcolax rectal suppository isn't successful, try a fleets oil retention enema followed by a gentle tap water or regular fleets enema. If no satisfactory evacuation results, your physician can perform a rectal exam to determine whether you need manual disimpaction.

Bowels: If you have three soft bowel movements after three enemas I would think that you probably do not have an impaction. However if you still feel something there I would let a physician check it
