It's being neglected: Please forgive my frankness. This is the 21st century and acne is a sign of poor self-care. Even if your family dislike scientific medicine for whatever reason, you're old enough to take the initiative. If topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated hasn't cleared you in two weeks, phone your personal physician by yourself and request an inexpensive 2nd medication.
