Cross Out or In?: In your age the most common cause ; form of crossing is from uncorrected myopia ; crossing out. If you were near sighted ; have not worn your glasses for several years for reading you may have developed convergence insufficiency. This may cause your symptoms. Despite popular belief myopes must wear glasses when reading. If your eyes cross- in then it is the opposite; uncorrected hyperopia.
