Numbness: Numbness can have several different causes. the only way to fully understand what your cause is a good patient history, physical exam and possibly labs and xrays. hope this helps.

Many things: A bump must be seen and examined in person to be able to give a better idea what it is or isn't. If it's worse, changes, or not improved in the next few weeks, go ahead to a doctur.

Is it impossible to break a titanium plate in your arm?

No: Plates and screws, and rods, and wires will all eventually break if bones don't heal regardless of what metal they are made of. Just like a wire coat hanger will break if you bend it back and forth enough times. Without bone healing the metal fatigues and fails if it gets enough cycles on it. If the bone is healed the chances of fatigue failure are basically zero.
