What could have caused me to feel dizzy when i cut my toe on accident?

Possibilities: Nevous reaction to the accident: especially if squeamish. Severe loss of blood can also cause this but not likely from a small cut in toe. May have gotten up very quickly which also can make one light headed for a few moments.
