A member asked:

Do you know which drug should not be taken by someone who has high blood pressure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Decongestants : meds for runny nose with Ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate) and Pseudoephedrine are often best to avoid for people with HTN, at least chronic use or continued use of this class of medications. Sudafed would be a common brand name of this type of med.
