A member asked:

How fast does fougera triamcinolone aetonide usp, .1% work for relieving moderately inflamed/dry skin on the arms, forming as a result of isotretnoin?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

72 hours: Usually need to give a treatment regimen a 72 hour window to judge effectiveness. Though it also depends on the number of days one has been on isotretinoin, and continued treatment. Need to discuss with the doctor that prescribed the isotretinoin. Varying concentrations of steroid cremes are available, and can be adjusted to the situation.
