Our bodies are open systems; majority (~55-62%) is water ; we need water in ; out to stay alive; yet water can also kill us, e.g. Acute water intoxication; pulmonary edema (cannot breath), etc.. The issues are always dose/unit time, both acute ; chronic changes in behavior ; tracking outcomes, called clinical trials.
