Yes: Blood tests can be done soon after conception (8-9 days after). It's best to wait until after your first missed period to test with he urine pregnancy tests. Be sure to accurately follow the directions to get a valid result. Other causes of false negative tests are not using first urine of the morning and drinking too much water before testing.
