A member asked:

When should my midwife check for dilation? 37 weeks and 3 days. but baby is measuring at 38-39 weeks.

Not Unusual: It is not unusal to measure a week or two ahead at your stage of the pregnancy. It is ok to check now if you would like to have the cervix checked for dilatation. Providers , including midwives , do not like to intervene until 39 weeks unless there is a reason too.
