Polycystic Ovary: A long interval between period could indicate a condition such as polycystic ovary syndrome which might be assciated with difficulty to conceive. It responds well to metformin. This condition is associated with an elevated testosterone level. Short interval between periods might indicate a condition such as endometriosis causes conception problems. Consult your physician about this problem.
