I was just @ the hospital 2 dys ago & was told i had leukocytosis. i need to follow up w/my doc. do i need to make a appt asap? could this b serious?

Maybe: Leukocytosis simply means an elevated white blood cell count. Infection and inflammation are probably the most common causes, but it should be rechecked. Usually doctors would give an indication of urgency or concern depending on the situation.
