Arrhythmia : This could represent the same or two different entities. Certainly pain between the breasts and skipped beats could indicate a primary cardiac problem. This may be evaluated by cardiologist to rule out an arrhythmia. In addition a blood test to rule out thyroid disorders should also be entertained. Commonly, chostochondritis, an inflammation of cartilage can affect the chest area can cause pain.
