Possible but...: A hx of no recurrent wart after treatment is favorable but not a guaranty of not still being a hpv carrier because many hpv-infected men, like women, have no visible lesion. But at least, we can say he may have strong enough immune ability against hpv even maybe still a carrier. In fact, some 10-15% of the us adult population are positive hpv dna test, yet just some 1% have visible lesion.
