Clear mucous: Clear mucous usually occurs with ovulation. In fact, many people use this as an indication for ovulation thus avoiding sex to prevent sex or having more frequent sex if pregnancy is desired. It is not an exact science however. Pink discharge can also occur mid cycle as well. Using a birth control pill can help with both symptoms.
