Arthritic neck pain?: Quite possibly arthritic neck pain. Google "cervical spondylosis referral patterns". If this is the case, cervical radiofrequency ablation can help tremendous.

Muscle spasm: ? Fibromyalgia (FM) sufferer has pain in region of superior trapezium (ST) not benefitted by meds. Spasm of ST common amongst FM sufferers. Posture, massages, biofeedback, and trigger point injections helpful. If the pain pattern is predominantly unilateral, then Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) becomes a consideration. TOS is often seen in persons with FM. An Osteopath can discern.
