Check online: The national institute on aging and multiple centers on aging exist around the country. And they have the latest information. They are looking for the cause so that more effective treatments can be found. To get there, they are looking for early diagnosis.

Treatments also: In addition to research on causes of alzheimer's, there's a great deal of research going on looking at ways to diagnose it as early as possible, including biomarkers, and ways to treat it and maybe even reverse the damage to some degree. Many companies are testing vaccines, in particular, and if you look on the internet you will find more information about these.
