I take a half a xanax (alprazolam) three or 4 times a day and it's half of 0.25. i've been taking them every day for about a month. will i need to be weened off?

Possibly: It is rarely a good idea to stop taking most psych meds suddenly. You are taking 0.375 to 0.5 mg of xanax (alprazolam) for only a month. I don't have enough info to know which anxiety disorder you have. I would discuss this with your prescribing doctor. I believe in slow tapering of benzodiazepines in general, but the particulars of your case could make tapering unnecessary.
