Very normal: Ear pain after tonsillectomy is totally normal. Usually peaks between days 3-6 after surgery. Hearing loss is probably related to swollen eustachian tube also normal.

Ear pain: Ear pain is common after tonsillectomy. Use Ibuprofen for pain relief.
