Itching: There are different reasons for skin itching. Certainly, using moisturizing cream helps with dry skin whine this is the cause of itching. However if the symptoms are caused by allergies then an antihistaminic medication like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Claritin could help. There are other less common reasons for itching but it would be good if you visit your pcp to check for those. Hope you get better.
