A member asked:

Why do i still have pain, stiffness, and numbness 4 weeks after arthoscopic surgery? partial medial and laterial meniscectomy.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Postop pain: There's no such thing as small surgery. Even arthroscopic surgery doesn't solve things overnight. First and foremost you should be checked to make sure there's no infection. Other reasons for persistent pain include arthritis and complex regional pain syndrome (formerly known as reflex sympathetic dystrophy). You should definitely see your surgeon.
