Had an mri found ventricles and sulci prominent in brain, would they see brain damage on their own?

Brain damage...: ...Is detected by a neurologic (or neuropsychiatric) exam to elicit and assess the numerous functions of various regions of the brain, not by imaging. An MRI is good to look for some causes of brain damage but cannot tell you if there is or is not any damage.
