Gilbert's syndrome: Is a benign abnormality detectable only by lab tests. Personally, I have never seen a patient with true reactive hypoglycemia -- only ones that were misdiagnosed. It's not low glucose, only a return of glucose to normal after a meal in someone who is usually overweight and Insulin resistant. Finger stick glucose meters are not accurate enough to detect true hypoglycemia.
