A member asked:

Is microwave choclate cake dangerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

All cakes are: Cake is oil + sugar + flour, with little or no fiber, and very little protein. That means cake is dangerous (basically, it's junk food). However, good cakes are delicious, so eating a little every now and then is fine to do. How a cake is made (steamed, baked, microwaved, etc...) doesn't add any danger to the cake, but frying it (as in donuts or fried twinkies) adds even more oil to the cake!
