Childhood allergy: Problematic pediatric allergies can only be safely managed under the direct supervision of a pediatrician or a pediatric allergist moreover adult remedies are totally inappropriate for 22 month old children. If you believe your young child has significant allergies, this should be reported to your pediatrician; only professional evaluation and management is the appropriate treatment in these kids.

Be certain...: Unless your child has a documented allergy at 9 months old be certain that what you are treating is allergies and not a cold or other serious symptoms; allergies by definition is characterized by patterns of symptoms with increasing sensitivity over time. For this reason children typically display allergic symptoms into the second year of life. If he does have allergies i would consult your dr.
