Yes it is ok: There is no problem by taking Plavix (clopidogrel) on an empty stomach. There is risk of bleeding regardless of how you take it, and bleeding from the stomach is more common if you take Aspirin as well, for which you should be on an anti-acid. Ask your cardiologist.
