It depends.: It is the increase in oxidative stress , from medical or mental stress that produces free radicals that make us age. Taking medications to treat medical and mental illness helps decrease the stress caused by disease but there are also side-effects from the medications which can create a different kind of stress. A new product called protandim seems to reduce oxidative stress.
