EKG?: Caffeine may cause these symptoms but you need an ekg and possibly a holter monitor to rule out a dangerous condition.

Discuss with doc: Avoid caffeinated beverages. Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) may also precipitate palpitations, if that is a new med for you. Get an ekg when you are having palpitations. If palps persist, you may benefit from a heart monitor - talk to your doc.
