Kenalog (triamcinolone): If your discomfort is causing difficulty in your breathing or swallowing go to the er a s a p. You may be having kan allergic reaction.

Probably bruise: This is probably a bruise. If it is red and raised it could be infected. I would call the doctors office who performed the shot. Allergy to kenalog (triamcinolone) would be unusual. Use antihistamines such as fexofenadine and a steroid nasal spray such as fluticasone to treat your allergy symptoms, fewer side effects than a steroid injection.
