Would a 3-lead ecg, show the t-wave different if potassium was low enough?

Hypokalemia ECG: With significant hypokalemia (potassium less than 3) the ECG will change. T-waves will flatten, u-waves will appear , ECG intervals will increase. While a 12-lead ECG will show these best a three lead (holter monitor) or even a single lead ECG may be enough to show the changes. In general you do not want to wait for ECG changes if you suspect low potassium get a chem 7 bloodtest.
