No: Creatine ethyl ester (CEE) is an ethyl ester derivative of creatine, from which it is made. Creatinine is a breakdown product of creatine phosphate in muscle. In the body, CEE is converted back into creatine. CEE is better absorbed & has a longer half-life than creatinine monohydrate. Research found that CEE is likely to be no better than taking creatinine.
