Healthcare: For non-emergent needs, you can call around to see if there are any physicians willing to work out a payment plan/arrangement with you. Another alternative to going to the ER is urgent care (however urgent care typically requires money up front). Also look into any free medical clinics that are focused in serving people with low income.
