Could my doctor or psychiatrist call cps child protective services if i have a mental illness?

Depends on situation: Some states have laws that require any health, school or law enforcement official to report any situation where they believe a child or adult is at risk of physical harm or neglect. If yours is a personal one, where you simply have mental health issues, your personal situation is private.

If it appeared that: Your mental health disorder prevented you from adequately taking care of your children or you were abusive those would be reasons for cps involvement.
