Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen): Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is a medication prescribed to control physical pain. It is not an effective standalone medication for depression. That said, chronic pain can certainly lead to depression -- and if this pain is relieved with Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) or other treatments, depression may remit also.
